Road Rules With Constable John

Yesterday Constable John taught us the new road rules. As kids these rules could save our lives here are the rules.
Rule 1. Straight
Rule 2. Left
Rule 3. Right
Rule 4. Give way to right
Rule 5. Manners\Courtesy
Rule 6. Top of the T goes before me.
To keep us interested he gave us a game to play. It was were there was an intersection and we pretended we were cars. We could either go straight, left or right, we then had to use the new road rules and decide who goes first. Here is a video showing the new road rules on an intersection. Here is an interactive quiz about road rules

Abseiling

I don't know why I did it, everybody else was pleading to not go first but stupid me nominated myself.
"Miss Frost I'll do it I said "Great Annabelle just listen to Shane you'll be alright
"WHAT!! no I was just joking I'm not going first!!!" I stated "You'll get a fabulous award for all your bravery" Then Miss Frost walked down the hill with out saying another word.

"Go on Annabelle I'll be so proud of you" my mum encouraged. So without giving me a say she
pushed me towards Shane the instructor  "Mum don't make me do this" I grumbled. To late I had been clipped in, Shane then taught me how to feed the rope and how to abseil down the cliff. I glazed I was
terrified it looked like a long way down. I started to change my mind about going but it was to late.
I leaned back and started the climb down. I was doing it I was abseiling down the side of the cliff!
I didn't want to walk into a gorse bush, that would have been a disaster.

As I was approached the bottom I heard "Annabelle, Annabelle look here, pose" It sounded like Miss Frost I looked around searching for where the voice was coming from. There was Miss Frost amongst
the bushes with her camera I posed and smiled then I continued to climb down.

Suddenly disappointment hit me. I was finally getting the hang of it. It was so much fun! Now, about that fabulous award. I'm still waiting!!!

Roy Lichtenstein

Roy Lichenstein was born on the 27th of October 1923 – September 29, 1997 he was born in Manhattan, New York and died in the same city he was born in at the age of 73. His first piece that envoloved ben-day dots was called Look Mickey. There was a challenge behind this piece, his son was reading a mickey mouse comic book and told his dad that he bet that he could never paint like the mickey comics. The style of art he did was called pop art but unfortunatley that style was not appreciated at the time one point in his career a magazine called Life he was called the worst artist in the u.s! Nowadays pop art is quite popular for example Roy's piece Ohhh...Alright... sold for $42.6 million dollars!! The main colours in his art involve red, blue and yellow all these colours scream brightness!! Also every painting he does he outlines with black.

I personally think that Roy is an amazing artist and should have been much more appreciated
when he first stepped into the scene. His use of colours with the ben-day dots are so unique
i especailly love how in his art it is all comic themed. What also stands out to me is how
sometimes in some of his pictures he does onamatapeoias which is really cool!
